Tomorrow I start once again at Bell. Half the summer is gone. Ironically, I can often get more work done on other projects while at work at Bell. I made a list on my phone of all the projects I’m working on so I can quickly reference it any time I need to remember what needs work.

This morning Laura woke up very early, I slightly less early, and we taxied over to the Marriott Fairfield Inn beside Trudeau airport where her CanJet interview was taking place. Her interview took about half an hour, as I sat in the hotel lobby, watching the elderly amble about, the business folk scuttle to conference rooms, and an episode of Fringe on my laptop.

After her interview we made our way back home by public transit. This was the first time I actually took public transit back from the airport. I’ve always bussed there and taxied back.

After a quick stop at home we made our way downtown to many various clothing stores. Laura is looking for appropriate clothes for her trip to the Dominican. I bought some ankle-high socks, to wear with my low tops instead of rolling my socks in half, and another pack of boxer-briefs. I’ve made a switch, a change I haven’t made since 1997 when I decided to start wearing boxers, so that I wasn’t exposing my briefs to the boys in the grade 7 gym changing rooms. I’ve been wearing boxers for more than half my life. Now begins a new era.

We watched the first episode of the third season of True Blood tonight, as well as the season finale of the first season of Glee. Both damn good shows, for obviously very different reasons. All that Journey music made me want to watch the entirety of The Sopranos so that I can feel the full weight of it’s finale. Yeah, I know, that’s kinda ridiculous. And I’ve started watching Fringe. It’s, uhh… it feels like it’s actually taking place in the same universe as Lost. I need to finish watching Lost, too. Sheesh. I really don’t know how much I like Fringe, but I’m wrapped up in the story now and more than half done the first season.
